Show yourselves!

If you non-commenters would so indulge me, please delurk and tell me a few things:
Who are you?
Do you have a blog?
Why do you read Red Stapler?

Thank you! Even if you don't comment, thanks for reading.

Just love to read what you are up to. Sometimes you even make me think about what I should be doing.

  2. Howdy! I'm Gabriella and, though I think I may have commented once, I'm basically a luker. I blog over at Sewing Is Hard...about sewing, which I am not particularly good at but enjoy immensely. I read Red Stapler because I think you are smart and funny and reading about the graceful way you deal with your little (and big) problems make my little (and big) problems seem so much more manageable. I like your style Suebob. :)

I'm not a lurker, but here I am anyway!

*waves* Hi! I read your blog because it entertains me and makes me think.

Also, you comment on mine sometimes, and I like that, so I return the favor when I can.

  4. I'm Dave2!

    I write at blogography.com!

I started reading your blog because you were planning to come to my Dave L.A. event!

Even though you didn't make it, I found your blog interesting enough to keep reading!

  5. Hey! I am totally a lurker! I do have a blog (themontneys.blogspot.com), but I don't update very often so I don't know if that counts. I love reading your posts because they're funny and make me think about things that I don't always consider. I also got pretty invested in your blog when you were going through your job stuff. I was rooting for you from the sidelines. Basically I just like your writing!

  6. Somehow I stumbled across your blog and found it entertaining. I haven't meant to be a lurker and I will try to comment more in the future. I'm over at Thirty four mile pizza so stop by and lurk on me sometime!

  7. I guess I am a part-time lurker, most times I don't comment but once in a while I will throw one out there :)

I love the way you write, I enjoy your perspective, you make me think and you make me laugh. I like your style! These are a few reasons why I read.

I discovered your blog because I have been thinking about doing an immersion program and found your Oaxaca Diary.

I do have a blog, very new, only a couple of months old. I am hoping to improve over time :)

  8. I'm not really a non-commenter, but I'm probably a bit overdue for one. Hi!

  9. You know me but I'll join the party anyway.

I'm Kizz. I'm at www.117Hudson.blogspot.com and I read Red Stapler because I just like you. And Goldie. (MORE GOLDIE!)

    2. Yes.
    3. Fine writing, silly stories, and I think you're super cool. Also, you have fine taste in salad consumption technique.

  12. Hi, it's me. I've been sort of lurking lately. I read because I like you.

  13. Hi! I'm Cindy...though most of you know me as Chase. I used to have the blog called Taste the World...but now it's my photography business website and there ain't no blogging there.

The first day we met, you gave me mint leaves and I got people drunk off of them. Well, them mixed with Vodka. :)

I read you because...well....I've read you since like, what?, 2006?

But mainly I'm just here to stalk Dave2. :)

  14. Why do I read you? Because you are Suebob!!

One of my many favorites is "Suebob takes Dad to the grocery store."

  15. I think I have commented a few times, maybe. I don't know...anything is possible.

    I blog over at Erratic.

I like your perspective and think you are a good writer. I guess my reason is the same for every blog I read; I get excited when my reader says I have a new post and it's you. :)

  17. I can't remember if I've commented here before or not - maybe once or twice? In any case, it's been a while, but I read your posts in my Google Reader faithfully.

I'm Florinda from The 3 R's Blog: Reading, 'Riting, and Randomness (www.3rsblog.com). I started reading Red Stapler because we live in the same county, but I stick around because I like it here.

    Happy Delurker Day!

  18. I'm a 'mostly lurker'. I think I may have commented once or twice.

I have a mostly neglected knitting blog and also a gardening blog (because I'm an overachiever - I need to have two blogs I'm not posting to).

I can't remember how I found your blog, maybe it was a link from Mrs. G's blog. I stuck around because I like your observations and your sense of humor.

  19. Hi there,
I think I may have commented once or twice, and then there was the Twitter exchange about olives. I don't have a blog, which lately has been making me feel horribly guilty and a little slimy, like I'm blog-stalking while offering nothing in return. So this Delurking thing is cool! I'm pretty sure I first came across you on Twitter. While I have about 20 blogs in my Google Reader, you are one of only two or three that I make a point to read every post. I love your sense of humor, and how you have no problem calling out the idiots and hypocrites. I waited anxiously for new posts as your employment situation unraveled. I love that you love your dog.

  20. Hi I'm Kim.
I like reading things, especially if they make me smile. I just rarely comment. I forget how I found Red Stapler but I'm glad I did.
Yep, I have a blog but I rarely post on it. I might average once a week, but that's probably being generous.

I lurk because I love. And I blog under the pseudonym Letseat, although I write about work a lot so I tend not to share the url in public forums.

  22. i read you and now i read you to make sure you get employment! you also make me chuckle and i can always use a laugh. keep it up

  23. but i LIKE lurking. also, i'm good at it. lurk, lurk, lurk. have you ever noticed how strange a word becomes when you say it a lot?

you make me laugh, and you frequently look at things the same way i do. :-) also, you have fabulous taste in sleepware - it matches mine.

i ramble over at "a moment captured."

  24. I hate comments, which makes me a lurker. I would totally hang out with you if we lived in the same city, preferrably yours since the beach isn't close enough it Atlanta.

  25. I just started reading you - found you from your hilarious comments on Kristin's blog during the kerfuffle. I don't have a blog. I teach math in high school, have a phd in Russian language acquisition, and play in a world fusion band. And just started walking to work...so I appreciate your mild self-imposed biking rules. : )

  26. You often make me laugh.

  27. Hey Suebob, I'm new to your blog and will continue to follow all your madcappery. I have a blog: Adventures of an Invisable Woman at dedethompson.blogspot.com
and I know what it's like to almost never get a comment; so lonely in the interwebs.
My blogging is more smartass pictorial as I have more to show than tell. I like your style and will be back a lot. Cheers.

I don't blog. I like to read Red Stapler and 3 or 4 others that I find amusing. It's the way I start my Saturday mornings (after the dog walk of course).

  29. I don't lurk, because I'm trying to encourage people to come over & read my own blog on the basis of the incredibly witty comments I leave here! My blog is 'isabellagolightly.blogspot.com' & I read yours because we have stuff in common... and you have a great eye for the weird...

  30. How are you darling. Just wanted to stop by...

  31. Lurker here. Found you through your comments elsewhere and followed your bread crumbs back here. My moniker refers not to any kind of "hipness" but to hormones. Thought you might appreciate that.
