Listmania

I just found a list I had made a few weeks ago and had completely forgotten about. It isn't titled but from the subject matter, I would guess it is about "Things that are pissing me off."

Nextel
Jowliness
Weak Coffee
Roosters
Freeway Accident Rubberneckers
Shorter Days because summer is over
Cellulite
Fox News
Liquid Bombers
Off-leash dogs

I'm only surprised that George W. Bush and exorbitant rent didn't make the list.

Linkateria, now with extra LinkberriesTM

Roosters?

Hi Sue!
I saw your comment over at Izzy's site about men doing housework being sexy. That's exactly the same type of comment left by several readers of this article over at To Love, Honor and Dismay. I thought you might enjoy it.

Have a great one!
Andrew

Bigots. I don't care if they're out of the closet or in the closet, I detest bigots. I understand that their bigotry is rooted in ignorance and I have some compassion for them, as I have limited compassion for the pedophile who was abused as a child, but I still detest bigots. I wish I could just hate this sin and not the sinner and on some fine, few days, I manage that.

Laura - and don't forget Dutch boy haircuts.

Sarah - I live next door to a rooster. He gets up at 4:14 every morning.

Andrew - I will go check it out.

Holly - You can have a blog! For free! At blogger.com or typepad.com - in 30 seconds! I would like to see it, really.

Maybe it's a list fo things you meant to blog about.
Mission accomplished. I guess.

Whose cellulite? Yours or mine? Don't let mine get you down, Sue, it's okay. I appreciate your sympathy, though.

Suebob, thanks for the invite, but I'm already blog-obsessed and if I had my own blog, I'd write about 3 words a day for editors.

I must say, "No."

I must say, "No."

I must say, "No."

I must say, "No."

But thanks for thinking of me. And honestly, when I do write on the wide open Internet, some folks decide to hate me. Which I hate.

P.S. - I also hate bigots, even though I'm a bit of a bigot, for I have bigotry against bigots.

Fox News for sure. And there's lots of jowliness there too to make it extra annoying.

Thanks for answering Sarah re the roosters - same question popped into my mind.

Ah, the discarded list! I found one last week that was a pre-wedding checklist (for babycarrot sister). It would have helped had I actually, you know, READ it, after I orginally penned it.

But half the fun of lists, I think, is that they don't need to be practical, or really ever referenced again, after you write them. The List stands alone, if you will. ; )

This is obviously your version of Stephen Colbert's "On Notice". How do you feel about bears?

I love that off-leash dogs is on your list. In Sunday's NY Times, there was an obnoxious op-ed piece about how leashes are prisons for NYC dogs, and that leash laws are an unnecessary evil. (Justin pointed out that tiny City apartments are like prisons for dogs, too.) I couldn't even get past the first paragraph.

Bush probably didn't make the list because the list's title would require greater vitriol to accomodate his presence...or maybe that's just me...

JOWLINESS. That's pretty damn funny.

SO ya don't like Roosters, huh? I guess you really didn't like that movie "Chicken Run" then. heehee.

Jonniker - that's the one that made me stop and look at the list all over again, myself.

OK, I saw the comment on roosters, which answered my first question. But jowliness? Are you referring to your own or someone else's?

This broken fan in my laptop is pissing me off. It's making this annoying clicking noise, and now my hubby's bitter because he thinks I broke it.

Nancy - sadly, my own!
