The afterparty

I stayed in Illinois a few days to see family. Today I got to see my 2 nieces and six of their seven children (Skyller is still in hospital).

I took tons of photos, and most of them were cute. This is my favorite:

Isn't it funny how tire-swings and jean shorts are timeless? I wouldn't have known this was a recent picture if you hadn't have mentioned it. Very cute picture :)

I'm sorry I didn't get to say hello to you this year! I saw you across the room, wrangling the mic during one session, but wasn't close enough to say hi. So, "hi!" I also thought the W was, uh, an interesting hotel. The glass bottles looked like vodka, so I didn't realize until later that they were $8 bottle of WATER.

i had the same reaction as some of the other folks here - i totally thought that was an old picture. has a very 60's or 70's feel to it. really a sweet capture.
