Reprehensible

I don't like people like Ari Gold. I don't want to be around them. I don't want to live in a world where people act like Ari Gold. Ari Gold is pretty much the antithesis of what I think people should be like.

Why, then, do I love to watch him so much? (WARNING: Swearing. Sexism. Ethnic stereotypes. Crude sexuality. Everything your mother warned you about. Etc.)

Who is your best worst character?

I totally hear you about Ari Gold. He's just so damn funny.

Vic on The Shield is like that for me. I know I shouldn't sympathize with him--he's all kinds of bad--but I do.

Also Nicky on Big Love.

I've never watched this show, but if I could just get the funny highlights like this, I'm fine!

My favorite (well, one of my favorites) is when his assistant asks him to never reference his race or orientation again. "I can't swear to that, but I promise I'll always apologize afterwards"

Hey, for an asshat like Ari, that's LOVE!

I love Ari simply because he is played by Jeremy Piven, who I love even more. And, he so damn GOOD in this role.

We don't have cable, so I miss Ari (who apparently matches his real-life inspiration so perfectly, Ari Emanuel's parents tune in regularly to see what their son is up to).

But my fave is John Larroquette from Night Court. My first of many crushes on deep-voiced TV personalities. Dan Fielding was a real ass. Sleazy, yet somehow hot.

I loved this video so much that I immediately searched to find out when Entourage was on and was disappointed to find out that it's on HBO, which we don't have. So relieved to learn I can get my Ari fix on Netflix.

I just wasted a good 45 minutes watching all the youtube videos.

I love Jeremy Piven. Alas, I don't have HBO and don't have Netflix, so I'm am Piven-less.

House. He's an asshole, but I love him.
