Unpaid Product Review Time:
Odd fact: I paint my toenails but not my fingers. When I do my toes it doesn't bother me, but when I put fingernail polish on it feels like OMG MY NAILS CAN'T BREATHE. Weird, I know.
Not-so-odd fact: I have the hand-eye coordination of a four-year-old after two veinte frappucinos. When I do my nails, I often end up with more nail polish around me than on me.
Enter Nic's Sticks:
Why didn't someone think of this before? A nail polish PEN. It is just a little brush at the end of a pen-shaped dispenser, but having a big ol' magic marker-sized thing to grip makes all the difference.
This is OPI polish, but I think it is thinned a bit so it flows through the pen. One coat will do in a pinch, but you will need two to get really nice coverage.
Great for touch-ups, too. I got mine for $6.64 at Target. The color shown is Carpool Mama. Love those OPI names!
Suebob says thumbs up.

Yes! OPI names are the best. I'm wearing Catherine the Grape right now.
Loving this review. I have the same nail painting issues and therefore only do my toes. Usually I have to let someone else do it--plus I love those foot massages that come with the pedicures.
okay sorry...tmi. I'll shut up now.
I paint my toenails but not my fingers.
Me too, totally. For the exact same reason! Oh, and also because my fingernail polish chips the second I walk out of the salon, while my toenail polish remains ironclad literally for a month.
But you're right - I feel the loss of oxygen to my fingertips! Weird.
Cute Toes !!!!!
P.S. ...... Beat Boston !!!!!!
Ooh, some other brand has these too, but they have a very limited color selection (like red, blue, black, and pink - very boring). I like them and found an added bonus that my kid can paint with them without me worrying about her spilling the bottle.
I have to check these out to get some better colors.
I will totally 100% buy this now. You hear me out there, OPI? Suebob just sold this for you.
My favorite OPI name, incidentally, is "I'm Not Your Waitress."
I do the same thing. I use my hands too much to keep them nicely manicured and I can't stand the look of chipped and peeling polish. My toes will stay nice for at least three weeks.
Right now I'm wearing Socrates Me. Not my favorite color, but an awesome name. Really, my favorite color is "Don't Be Koi With Me" which is a shockingly bright coral.
Lees than $10? I'm so getting some.
Oooh, cool! I also paint my toes but not my fingers. I have gorgeous feet (I know, right?), but don't really care to deal with fingernail painting. I will ahve to look for this.
I'm also a toes-only gal, and I neeeeed one of those pens!
Ok I NEED that. Necessary to feeling like a real woman: having toes painted. Make-up? Naw. Fingernail polish? Useless. But toes, oh yeah. And as for coordination - shya, I cannot cut a straight line to save my life, paint without dripping or do my nails without slips. This is brilliant!
Oooh I need one of those. For my kids too, because I make them do their toes outside since they make such big messes.
I don't like to do my nails because it is gone in seconds. I don't understand it, since on my toes it will last two weeks. I live in flip-flops.
Oh, I had a nail polish pen when I was in junior high. Although it is funny that you reviewed this because I just saw an ad for it in a magazine and thought that if I wore nail polish, it would be great. Just like my old nail polish pen in silver was.
Great idea! Why didn't I think of that?
Hugs!!
only do my toes because it bugs the heck out of me when my fingernails chip, which is about 15 minutes after they dry.
You have made International Toe Porn Superstar Spunky L. very very happy.
I don't paint my fingernails for exactly the same reason! However, I'm a pedicure junkie.
I got one of these free to try through 'she speaks'. I used it on my hands, and didn't really like it, because like ALL polishes, it chipped within a day. (not with fake nails, but with my pathetic, paper thin, peeling nails, yeah).
But for TOES? I'm totally going to try that next. And I want that color.
I don't wear nailpolish enough. The last time I painted my toenails red, I kept glancing down and thinking, "Oh no! My toes are bleeding!"
