Sorry about the serious dearth of posts.
Spring has sprung and I have been busy rolling around naked in fields of tiny flowers as I ponder what to make with the big, fat, juicy green asparagus spears I bought at Farmer's Market.
I am thinking maybe they would be best simply steamed and eaten with fingers while they are just cool enough not to burn my mouth.
UPDATE: Asparagus all eaten. Put a fork in me. I'm done.

I is jealous. I wants to roll in fields of tiny flowers. Maybe not so much with the nakedness though. My luck I'd roll right onto a stickerbush.
Are there enough for the whole class? I'm so very hungry for asparagus!
Asparagus is my mortal enemy, but I do love rolling in flowers.
Spring has sprung here as well, except the fields are flooded from the melting snow. My backyard looks like the mosh pit at Woodstock.
I can't remember the last time I had asparagus. I think it's good roasted with olive oil and salt though.
Yes! Steamed, then drizzled with olive oil with some lemon pepper. We are not even close to having asparagus yet, but I am ready, with fork in hand!
Yum! And just for the record I enjoyed the seriousness.
Asparagus...mmmm time to start shopping at the produce stand again.
Sounds utterly delightful
Spring? It's still heapin' snowy here, dadgummit!
Mmm, sparrowgrass.
It's not spring here yet, though. Nearly, but not nearly close enough.
