I'm driving back roads on my way up to my old town. I am sitting in a cafe in Los Olivos, a town my dad's family helped found in the 1800s. I love California in the springtime when it is all green. It doesn't last long, so we enjoy it while we can.

Beautiful. I think I would have recognized the scenery from Sideways even if you hadn't mentioned it on Twitter. :-)
Los Olivos is the coolest. My husband regularly scouts Figueroa Mountain Road for commercials. I always feel a little like I've died and gone to heaven when I'm in that part of the world. The wildflowers should be popping any day now...
I love the smaller towns in California - you are so lucky to live there.
Smalltown GA is beautiful as well, but the residents can diminish the beauty.
